Updates from the Scenic Wild Delaware River

Getting to us just got easier! We are pleased to share with you that our redirect is in place, and we can promote ScenicWildDelawareRiver.com on all promotional pieces and communications. This effort will make it easier for visitors to remember how to find us online.

Council Chair, Bryan Cope, offers an update about the SWDR geotourism initiative in his winter report.

In the December newsletter, we reported on our recent contributor survey, and gave you an update on the hiking and biking trail map that our Sustainability Committee is working on. Here's what we’re doing on your other top priorities:

Visit ScenicWildDelawareRiver.com
Help us get ready for our spring / summer promotional campaign. Make sure your festivals and events are on the SWDR Geotourism MapGuide. Nominate your events.
Hosting an event you would like SWDR to be a part of? Contact Michele Archie. We have banners, brochures and friendly faces to engage your visitors and excite them about all the adventures along the Scenic Wild Delaware River. The Council is also willing and able to speak at regional conferences, let us know if you see an opportunity.
Discover Lehigh Valley® included the SWDR initiative in their 2017 Official Visitors Guide, with Easton sitting right on the river.

With the development of a new profile sheet and rack card, Council members have been hitting the road to national and international trade shows, extending our reach and connecting with meeting planners, group tour operators and leisure visitors. A spring/summer online advertising campaign is also being planned. Stay tuned.
