Friends of Food Security Annual Meeting

The Collective Impact Food Security Initiative in Rapid City unofficially kicked off in 2016 when representatives from several organizations that feed people in need came together to share about the services they provide and learn about the services other organizations provide. Since that time, the initiative and its many agency partners have identified community needs, filled gaps in services, and created new and ongoing partnerships, among other achievements.

The Friends of Food Security Annual Meeting this Tuesday is an opportunity to celebrate past successes, discuss ongoing challenges, and delve into what the future might hold for the Collective Impact Food Security Initiative.

The event is sponsored by the Black Hills Area Community Foundation, a community collaborator and financial contributor to the Food Security Initiative.

Media members are welcome to attend any or all of the presentations. If you cannot attend, look for a recap of the day's events in a future Collective Impact Black Hills newsletter. The meeting agenda is as follows, with times subject to minor changes:
