Summary: Six years after the violent death of her husband, Amelia (Essie Davis) is at a loss. She struggles to discipline her ‘out of control’ 6 year-old, Samuel (Noah Wiseman), a son she finds impossible to love. Samuel’s dreams are plagued by a monster he believes is coming to kill them both. When a disturbing storybook called The Babadook turns up at their house, Samuel is convinced that the Babadook is the creature he’s been dreaming about. His hallucinations spiral out of control, and he becomes more unpredictable and violent. Amelia, genuinely frightened by her son’s behavior, is forced to medicate him. But when Amelia begins to see glimpses of a sinister presence all around her, it slowly dawns on her that the thing Samuel has been warning her about may be real.
Friday the 13th - Geelong Gaol

Believed to be one of the creepiest nights of the year, Friday the 13th is the perfect night to explore the most haunted Gaol in Victoria.

Known as the Prison of the ill, Geelong Gaol opened in 1853 and is one of Australia's most intact 19th century convict prisons.  Explore this prison after dark and be haunted by stories of convicts, murderers and lunatics who once called this three story blue stone building home. The tour will take you back to a time when the building housed male and female prisoners, as well as children from the Geelong industrial school.  Both Ghost tours and Deadtime investigation tour available this night
Chinese New Year - Year of the Rooster

On Friday the 27th of January is the perfected time to explore Melbourne's Chinatown as celebrations begin for the Luna new year.  Join a 19th centry police officer as we guide you thought the lanes and streets of the oldest Chinese comunitee in the western world.

Will we met the “Gods of Prosperity, Wisdom and Longetivity” or see the Chinese characters and performers come out into the streets with the traditional lion dancers and fireworks bring in the Lunar New Year – Year of the Rooster.

Chinese New Year 2017 will be a year of the Rooster. For people born in a year of the rooster (1921, 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005), 2017 is considered a bad year.

"Roosters" are hardworking, resourceful, courageous and talented... Read more on the personality, career, and love suggestions for those born in Rooster years, and for other Chinese zodiac animals by clicking on the links in the table below.
Serviceton Railway Station

On January 28, join the team for a 3 hour investigation of the Serviceton Railway Station.  It was here due to the border of Victoria and South Australia and customs that patrons would disembark and change trains. We are lucky enough to be investigating this large station from a bygone era, with ballrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, cells underneath and a morgue.  Rarely investigated, this is your chance to step back to a place in history time forgot and discover just who still wanders this railway station .......
