Chattanooga Arts District - April 16
$50 per person,- Deadline to register is April 8 at noon.
Depart April 16 at 8:30am.  Lunch on your own.  Return at 5pm
Atlanta Botanical Gardens - May 28
$70 per person  - Deadline to register is May 20 at noon.
Depart May 28 at 8:30am.  Late lunch at Mary Mac’s
(on your own).  Return 5pm

February's Communion offering benefits 
Conference Mission Month: 
Rome Action Ministries & Murphy-Harpst Children's Center 


Action Ministries mobilizes communities to address the challenges of poverty by focusing on hunger relief, housing and education. Locally, Action Ministries runs a food pantry program, Backpack Buddies program, and an after school tutoring and mentoring program for kids in need of extra time and help with homework. For information on how you could be involved, contact Jason Willis, Action Ministries regional development director 706-676-8530

Murphy-Harpst is an emotional, spiritual and physical safe haven for severely abused children and teenagers. It's mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where kids can heal and move toward a goal of re-engaging with society and leading productive lives. To be a part of a Murphy-Harpst volunteer team, please contact Pamela Kramer, Director of Community Engagement,

Mission Opportunities:
Tuesday, February 5th, Meals and More in the Wilder Center Dining Room. 
Help prepare and pack meals to distribute to members of our community in need of extra food assistance. Our partner church, 2nd Ave. UMC, will provide the main meal, we'll provide the sides. Stop by and spread some love- and peanut butter -with our neighbors.

Churchwide Mission Auction March 31st! Regift to Give! Or just give!
Do you have the perfect gift? Maybe just not perfect for you? Donate to our church wide mission auction to benefit future mission trips. We'll take your treasure and turn that into funding for our team mission trips to Detroit and Puerto Rico. For more information contact

If you have spare winters hats, gloves and/or scarves, we'd love to have them to distribute at Meals and More during the winter months. Drop those by the church office.
