Happy New Year from SPPA
It has certainly been a testing year for SPPA and we have survived our fair share of ups and downs. However, we are proud to be saying farewell to 2019 with nothing but excitement for whatever 2020 has to bring and look forward to our continued journey together.
The highlight of our year has to have been our SPPA 2019 conference

Some of the feedback we received:

"It was such a great opportunity to be amongst like-minded people – to meet new friends and to hear their stories, be inspired and come back energised to make a difference"

"It is always enjoyable to be with a group that all cares passionately about working together to improve how we work with others. In a Social Pedagogy event this is exactly what you get with a lot of extra fun thrown in for good measure. The tasks were uplifting and help you to re-focus your mind. Would I go back again...10 out of 10 I would"

SPDN Blackpool
On 26 November the Social Pedagogy Development Network had their 19th networking event in Blackpool. This year SPDN  was hosted by Empowerment and SPDN was pleased to have Mike Crowther, Empowerment’s CEO talking about how social pedagogy has informed Empowerment’s work and his own leadership.
Meet our new trustees...
At the 2019 AGM we sadly said goodbye to a number of our long standing trustee's members but this afforded us the opportunity to welcome some new faces into the fold. We would like to thank those that left for all of their hard work & commitment to SPPA and we look forward to the new energy and ideas our latest trustees will bring.
