Martial Arts and Sport for All - For a Better World
On 13-17 September 2019, the region of Ulyanovsk in Russia will host the 1st TAFISA World Martial Arts Festival. This new TAFISA event aims to share the values and benefits of martial arts and promote their historical and cultural significance to society. 
The Festival will focus on cultural events, performances, demonstrations, an academic forum, clinics and master classes showcasing over 30 different martial arts from all over the world. It will also feature an international Forum inviting renowned speakers to highlight how martial arts can benefit society.

The city of Ulyanovsk, located on the Volga river, is the birthplace of Soviet leader Vladimir Lenin with a rich history and splendid landscapes. Ulyanovsk is a fast-developing region of Russia at the center of federal and international trade routes through its ports, railway network and its two airports (national and international). Ulyanovsk has a strong history of promoting sports and martial arts and boasts various modern sports facilities and arenas which hosted major sporting events over the past few years.
