Mission 2030 Workshop Series - Sport for All & Education

In partnership with Liverpool John Moores University, the seventh event of the Mission 2030 Workshop Series was held on 28 April.  The Workshop explored how Sport for All can be utilised to benefit and enhance education, looking at diverse aspects from PE and organised sport activities, to initiatives utilising sport to provide formal and informal educational opportunities.  | Watch the Video Replay...

Europe in Action project pilots an Educational Module - Watch the Replay!

On 20 April, Knowledge Centre for Sport & Physical Activity Netherlands hosted the inaugural piloting of an Educational Module in The Hague – the European capital of sport. Of the 13 modules, “Active Cities” was piloted through this first 'Active Meeting', bringing together participants to foster the creation of cross-sectorial cooperation and alliances in European and national Sport for All policy delivery. | Watch the Video Replay...

INTERACT Project Pilots Sport for All Capacity-building framework

As the INTERACT project moves forward, project partners and Test Group members met to review the available beta outputs. On 4 – 5 May, 7 National Table Tennis Federations took part in the INTERACT Pilot Training in Sport for All Development. Umbria Ready to Host 2nd European Sport for All Games 2022

Italy is gearing up to host the 2nd European Sport for All Games in Perugia, Umbria, on 23-29 Sept, this year! TAFISA met with the Organising Committee of the European Games in Rome to prepare for the event. Stay tuned for registrations and more info very soon!

TAFISA Visits SOKOL in Czech Republic
On 20-21 April, a TAFISA delegation including Board Member Janez Sodrznik and Secretary General Wolfgang Baumann was invited to Prague to meet with representatives from SOKOL and discuss their bid to host the TAFISA World Congress 2025. A pre-contract was signed and the final decision on the host of the World Congress 2025 will be made by the TAFISA General Assembly. The visit also provided an opportunity for Wolfgang Baumann to meet with International Tchoukball Federation Executive Committee member Jitka Vele and discuss cooperation between both organisations.
