Make history and host the next TAFISA Congress! The bidding for the 30th TAFISA World Congress 2027 is now open. Interested parties are encouraged to submit their Expression of interest by 28 February 2023.
The host of the 30th TAFISA World Congress will be elected during the upcoming TAFISA General Assembly, which will take place on 3 November 2023 as part of the 27th TAFISA World Congress in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Apply Now! Bidding for 8th TAFISA World Sport for All Games 2024
TAFISA is opening the bidding for the 8th TAFISA World Sport for All Games 2024. We are inviting all members of the Global Sport for All Movement to apply or share within their network to help us identify the host for this flagship event.
This open bidding represents a unique opportunity to host a true Sport for All event which celebrates diversity, peace and friendship by welcoming up to 100 countries worldwide who will bring and present their Traditional Sports and Games, new sports, cultures, history and special performances to the host city over the course of a week. We are looking for organisations, cities, and countries who would be ready to host this special TAFISA event.

TAFISA President Attends Olympism 365 Commission Meeting
On 24 November, the IOC's newly formed Olympism 365 Commision held its first meeting in Lausanne, Switzerland. TAFISA President Wolfgang Baumann attended the meeting as an appointed member of the Commission. The Commission aims to "Advise on the IOC’s strategic approach to strengthening the role of safe, inclusive and sustainable sport as an enabler of the Sustainable Development Goals, and connect more people, from more diverse communities, to Olympism" among other responsibilities. | Read more...

Busy End of the Year for TAFISA Board of Directors
The TAFISA Board of Directors has been busy with commitments over the past few weeks, with the following events among others (from top left to bottom right):
- TAFISA BoD Member Jacqueline Kronenburg (Netherlands) gave a keynote entitled "All hands of deck for Sport for All" at ISPAH 2022 in Abu Dhabi.
- TAFISA BoD Member Max Tamazawa (Japan) hosted a meeting with representatives and partners from the Sinn-i project at the Sasakawa Sports Foundation headquarters in Tokyo.
- TAFISA Vice-President Catherine Forde (Trinidad & Tobago) addressed the audience of Cubamotricidad in Cuba with a call to enhance knowledge and experience-sharing in Sport for All in the Americas
- Forde, along with TAFISA Vice-President Herzal Hagay (Israel), and TAFISA BoD Member Wanshik Hong (Korea) joined the 16th ASFAA Congress which was held in Busan, Korea.
- TAFISA Treasurer Janez Sodrznik, Msc. (Slovenia) joined the 17th Council of Europe Conference of Ministers Responsible for Sport as a member of the EPAS Consultative Committee Bureau in Antalya, Turkey.
