President of Slovenia Grants Honorary Patronage to 27th TAFISA World Congress 2021
On July 2nd, President of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Pahor welcomed a delegation with representatives from the Olympic Committee of Slovenia - Association of Sports Federations (NOC-ASF), Sport Union of Slovenia (ŠUS) and TAFISA in Portorož, Slovenia, which will host the 27th TAFISA World Congress in October 2021. TAFISA Board Meets in Tokyo, Japan

Ulsan, Korea to Host 1st TAFISA Asian Sport for All Games 2021
We are proud to announce that the 1st TAFISA Asian Sport for All Games, which will take place in 2021 have been awarded to the City of Ulsan, Korea! The city of Ulsan was chosen by the TAFISA Board of Directors during their official meeting on May 22-25 in Tokyo, Japan.
TAFISA CLC in Seixal, Portugal
30 participants attended the TAFISA Certified Leadership Course hosted by Associação de Paralisia Cerebral de Almada Seixal (APCAS) in Seixal, Portugal on June 17-20. The CLC was led by Prof. Dr. Peter Kapustin, TAFISA Commissioner for Education, and Keri McDonald, TAFISA Business Developer and Fundraising Manager.

TAFISA & NASSAU Extend Partnership
We are proud to announce that the partnership between TAFISA and NASSAU has extended with the signing of a renewed Memorandum of Understanding. In March, Nassau had donated sports equipment to support the joint activities of TAFISA and African Union Sports Council Region 5 across the ten countries of Region 5.
Tartu Call - Two Years Later
TAFISA joined the Tartu Call for a healthy lifestyle seminar hosted by the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium, on June 19, to assess the progress and achievements produced two years after the Tartu Call was launched. As the Tartu Call for Healthy Lifestyle is now more relevant than ever, it is crucial to build bridges between sectors to increase the reach of our actions.

The TAFISA World Walking Day (WWD) draws millions of people to streets, parks, paths and natural environments on the first weekend of October each year. This year the WWD will take place on October 5-6.
