Headteacher's message...

Assalaamu alaykum,

As well as reciting and understanding the Quran in this blessed month, let us try to take some time and learn a bit more about our Prophet (saw). About his life, his character, habits, appearance and the rights the Prophet (saw) has over us.

Year 9 parents meeting
Just a reminder that next week Wednesday 21st June will be Parents Consultation Day for parents of Year 9 pupils from 1:30pm - 3:30pm. Thus school will close at 12:50pm on that day for all other pupils.

Summer Break and Back to School Dates
We will be breaking up for the summer holidays on Thursday 20th July 2017 at 12:00 pm, and school will reopen for the new academic year on Wednesday 6th September 2017. This is because Eid Al-Adha is expected to take place on the 1st or 2nd of September, thus Monday 4th September will be given as a day off for Eid and Tuesday 5th September will be staff INSET day. If you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Riddle of the Month

I have been the staple food for many in the Middle East over the years. You will see me waving at you when driving on the main streets over there, and will find me in every fasting home in Ramadan.

What am I?
Answer: Dates

Hadith of the Month

It is narrated by Aisha (May Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) used to say: "Look for the Night of Qadr in the last ten nights of the month of Ramadan."
