Farewell & Thank You

We say a sad farewell to Ms Fateha our Maths teacher and Ms Malika our Qur’an teacher who are leaving this year and are insha'Allah moving on to pursue other things. You have been invaluable to us and we wish you all the best in your future endeavours.

Ms Reha has gone on maternity leave, and we pray for her and her child and that Allah SWT makes everything easy for them. Aameen.

Activity Week

Students took part in a Treasure Hunt in Central London as part of Activity week, to improve their navigational, prioritising and teamwork skills. They were given a list of items/popular landmarks to find in the capital and provide evidence by taking a picture. Each group tried to score the most points by visiting as many items on the list in the given time and get back to school before the deadline!

The students also created beautiful mandalas as part of Calligraphy sessions in school.

End-of-year trip to Thriftwood

On Tuesday 9th July 2019, Lady Aisha Academy went on an end-of-year trip to Thriftwood Scout Camp Site and took part in activities such as Cresta Run (go-karts), Climbing and Water Roller. The students (and teachers!) had a wonderful time and really enjoyed themselves!
Year 11 Farewell Assembly

We said farewell to the current Year 11 class on the 18th June at their Farewell Assembly and Lunch. The students shared their fondest memories of the school and gave helpful advice to the rest of the school. We pray for the success of all Lady Aisha pupils and that they will be able to face the world and navigate through life whilst maintaining their Islamic identities. Aameen.

Big Bang Fair - Years 7 - 10

The school visited the Big Bang Fair London (East) at Newham College on Thursday 4th July. They visited many exhibitions and took part in a variety of workshops including Connections (Maths), Digital Skills with Samsung, Fitness Testing and Cyber Crime with the Metropolitan Police.

The students were tasked with building an earthquake-proof tower with the National Geology Society
