Happy Chinese New Year

Here, the last day before Chinese New Year, I always spend the last few hours in the office to reflect on 2018 and on the outlook for 2019. It is common to write a personal letter to each and every employee in China. The main topics this year will be a true thank you for the hard work and dedication, that all employees in our four Chinese offices has shown, not only to Martin Bencher, but also to all our clients and partners around the world.
Also, I will express my thoughts on 2019 that looks indeed positive in many ways. The shipbuilding industry has awakened with new buildings, retrofits and large investments into the shipping sector. Many other industries are booming, and from Martin Bencher we must have focus on working even harder, and secure that our high level of quality and service, is consistent, and even developed further with innovation and professional resources in-house.
From Shanghai I would like to say thank you to clients and business partners for the year of the DOG and I wish everyone a Happy Chinese New Year – the year of the PIG.
