WELDONE Kick-off Meeting |
14th and 15th of October 2019, Porto Salvo - Portugal
Hosted by ISQ, the Kick-off Meeting (KoM) represented the starting point for the WELDONE project.
All WELDONE consortium partners had the chance to meet in person, discuss all project’s activities and purposes and to define the steps to take for the upcoming months, towards the development of Intellectual Output 1 (IO1) “Training of Trainers”.
This outcome aims to develop a curriculum for a “train the trainers’” course, enabling trainers and teachers from EWF network, involved in Welding Qualifications and educators from STEM sectors to deliver technical training in a WELDONE way – using alternative pedagogical approaches and embedding the development of key competences in technical subject’s training.

Learning Activity Learning Outcomes Approach | 14th to 18th of October 2019, Porto Salvo - Portugal
The first WELDONE Learning Activity, entitled “Learning Outcomes Approach” was hosted and carried out by EWF in its facilities, in Porto Salvo (Portugal). With the participation of all project partners (STRUKA, ISQ, ASR, MATRAI, ISO and IEKEP), it provided the consortium with the tools and opportunity to work on the Competence Units to be included in IO1 in terms of Learning Outcomes, written in terms of knowledge and skills the trainers and teachers from EWF’s network will acquire after concluding the Training of Trainers.

WELDONE project’s identity – Logo
During the KoM, partners were presented with a set of three options for a WELDONE logo, suggested by EWF. After a brief discussion, a consensus was reached between partners on the project’s identity (logo and colours), important features to increase WELDONE visibility.
