Little Community,

Thank you for joining us on this incredible journey this year. We have seen so much growth in our students over the last 9 months! They have become writers, they have become readers, they become mathematicians, they have become scientists! We are so proud of the growth that they have made academically but also socially as they have learned how to collaborate and to support one another.

In this last month of school, we will see our kids continue to grow. Over the next couple of weeks, the students will be taking their MAP end-of-year assessments. This will give us immediate feedback on the growth that each child has made. We can’t wait to share this with you at our RISE night coming up at the end of the month! We will also be distributing summer learning kits for all students at this event. We look forward to gathering with you, sharing with you your students' growth, and then celebrating this year as it comes to an end.  RISE night will be combined with the end-of-year celebration that is sponsored by our incredible PTSA! We are excited to share this evening with you!

As we celebrate, we also prepare to say some goodbyes. The following individuals are heading on to the next chapter in their journey and we are incredibly grateful that we were able to share in this chapter.
  • Luanne Virkus - Retiring
  • Paula Stanley - Retiring
  • Ashley Doherty
  • Susan McIver
  • Steven Langford
  • Lindee Sahli
  • Nicole Atkins
As we look forward to the next chapter for our school community, we ask you to continue to believe. Believe in a better future as our world continues to come out of the pandemic. Believe in the power of coming together for the good of the community. Believe in the continued importance of partnerships and families in the success of the school. Believe in each child and their ability to become the best versions of themselves.

I believe that we have had an incredible year this year because of the work of the whole community and because we are better together. I also believe that the best is yet to come!

How to help Little Elementary receive donations
when you shop at King Soopers
The Kroger Family of Companies is committed to community engagement, positive social impact and charitable giving at the national and local levels. Every community is unique, but our common goal is to partner with the neighborhoods we serve and help the people there live healthier lives.

One of the ways in which we do this is through our King Soopers Community Rewards program. This program makes fundraising easy by donating to local organizations based on the shopping you do every day. Once you link your Card to an organization, all you have to do is shop at King Soopers and swipe your Shopper’s Card. Here’s how it works:

1. Create a digital account.

A digital account is needed to participate in King Soopers Community Rewards. If you already have a digital account, simply link your Shopper’s Card to your account so that all transactions apply toward the organization you choose.

2. Link your Card to an organization.

Selecting the organization that you wish to support is as simple as updating the King Soopers Community Rewards selection on your digital account.

1. Sign in to your digital account.
2. Search for your organization here.
3. Enter the name or NPO number of the organization you wish to support.
Organization Name: Little Elementary PTSA
 NPO#: EY318
4. Select the appropriate organization from the list and click “Save”.
Your selected organization will also display in the King Soopers Community Rewards section of your account. If you need to review or revisit your organization, you can always do so under your Account details.

3. Your organization earns.

Any transactions moving forward using the Shopper’s Card number associated with your digital account will be applied to the program, at no added cost to you. King Soopers donates annually to participating organizations based on your percentage of spending as it relates to the total spending associated with all participating King Soopers Community Rewards organizations.

If you have any questions, please contact our Customer Service Center.

Whether you’re a customer or an organization, get started today!

Note: If you are a customer, make sure you have a preferred store selected to view participating organizations. If you are applying on behalf of an organization, please select a store in the same area as your organization.
