Clean Heating & Cooling for Putnam County program announced!
The Hudson Valley Regional Council (HVRC) is excited to share with you the announcement of the official start to the Clean Heating & Cooling Program for Putnam County.
WestCOP, in partnership with Bright Energy Services, Atlantic Westchester, and HVRC, will embark on a series of four NYSERDA-funded CH&C campaigns over the next two years! This program provides beneficial, long-term cost savings to Putnam County homeowners and businesses.
WestCOP has issued an RFP for local installers of clean heating and cooling technologies, with an application deadline of September 5th. The RRP may be found on the program website, along with a signup form for volunteers who may be interested in supporting these campaigns and promoting the benefits of these technologies in Putnam County.

LED Street Lighting Academy A webinar series for local governments presented by NYSERDA’s Clean Energy Communities Program and the Lighting Research Center of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
NYSERDA and the Lighting Research Center (LRC) of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute are teaming up for the LED Street Lighting Academy – a series of four (4) monthly webinars to educate local governments on LED street lighting options and better prepare municipal decision-makers for interacting with contractors and the public.
