****Calling all LEAPA Members (and soon-to-be Members!)****
SATURDAY, 18 July 2020 starting at 17H00!
We had so much fun at last weekend's Summer BBQ, we decided to have another one ... but this time with a Surprise Game! Maybe Charades, maybe Pictionary, maybe Chinese Whispers, who knows!
This time, however, LEAPA will be providing the drinks, side dishes, condiments, and desserts (no need for you to bring anything to share). But, if you would like to grill something (meat/veg/fish/cheese) for yourself, please bring it along, as the grill will be fired up and hot!
And, this time, if you would like to bring along one non-member friend, you may do so.
This second summer BBQ will be in the Moutfort area, with the exact address provided to those who register. Car pools from Luxembourg City can be arranged! Please CLICK HERE for more information!
Please note: 5€ for each LEAPA Member and 15€ for one non-member guest of a LEAPA Member.
SPACE IS LIMITED, so please reserve your spot(s) early by sending us an email at email@example.com! We on the LEAPA Committee are looking forward to seeing you!
We would also like to take the opportunity to advertise two upcoming events offered by our sister clubs:
Saturday 25 July to Sunday 2 August, LEATSS, Theatre summer school
The courses will be taught online using Zoom. For anyone still interested in Kate Colgrave-Pope’s course, Monologue Mash-up, Kate has added extra sessions so that those on the waiting list can be accommodated and there is place for one more participant. Janice Dunn has adapted her course Our Digital Town, separating it into 2 parts so that participants can do either the first, or the second, or both. The first (DEV) will concentrate on the development of the piece (writing/devising), and the second (ACT) on bringing it to life (acting). For more information about the individual courses and costs please click on the link below: https://www.leatss.lu/2020/Course/VirtualCourses.php
Mid-September, BGT, David's Red Haired Death
David's RedHaired Death, BGT, Mid-September. Due to restrictions, it is difficult to predict when, where and how this play will be performed but the hope is that it will be performed in September. The play was written in the early 90s by American writer Sherry Kramer and is a powerful piece with two (Lëtzebuergesch) actresses in their mid-20s. We hope that one of these events may intrigue you! Otherwise, we hope to see you next Saturday, 18 July near Moutfort!
Suzanne and the rest of the LEAPA Team
P.S. Remember to check our website (https://www.leapa.eu/) for new dates and times for other postponed events once things start to be 'normal' again!
