It was an exciting summer for Home-Start York.

Hundreds of people came together to perform a Flashmob in York. We rehearsed for several months and our Chairman, David Miller kicked off the performance dressed as the Greatest Showman! This was a wonderful way to celebrate our 30th year and raise awareness for our charity. Over a thousand people came to watch and our video has been viewed thousands of times online. Thank you to our wonderful fundraising team for giving up their time and helping on the day.

Our Bob the Builder cart raced down the cobbles.

Once again, Kevin Greenhill created a fantastic cart for the Micklegate Run Soapbox Challenge. Kevin hurtled down the cobbles to the tune of Bob the Builder. That man is fearless! We're so grateful to Kevin and his family and all our fundraising team for taking part in this fun day.

York Minster 30th Anniversary Evensong

Thank you to everyone who attended our very special 30th Anniversary Evensong at York Minster on Saturday. It was a really lovely service and it was great to see so many of you there.

We require donations of good quality used/new toys to sell at the Christmas Toy Fair. Can you help?

We would also really appreciate any help setting up tables at the hall on the morning of the fair from 9am.  Help with manning the stalls during the event and clearing up afterwards. Please e-mail Julie and let her know if you will be able to help with any of the above. Thank you!
