As the leaves fall the tree's essence is revealed.
As the leaves fall the tree's essence is revealed or should we say re-revealed.
Here in the North Hemisphere, we are able to take in the deciduous trees' essence that is revealed once the trees have released their leaves. We then can see the true shape and personality of each tree. It makes for a wonderful gift at the end of fall -- to appreciate what the tree has to reveal each scar, bark groove, bump, and twisted branch.
I hope you each are adjusting well to this time of the year to see what is revealed within you. It may reveal the challenges and/or joys of darkness, slowing down, and turning inward. My wish for us all is that we embrace the sun when it is out, embrace the dark, and find our light within. May we step outside into the woods to see the tree essence and step into ourselves to study our core being.
Come see what is revealed with some OneTreeLove time together. See you in the woods or water soon. In the meantime, may this month bring you many moments of gratitude and revealing the goodness that is surrounding you.
P.S. Which trees do you notice don't release their leaves? See a list of trees that marcescence here.
