This solstice, we are invited to pause and reflect on what lights us up. It is something internal or external to us? Is it someone?
To my friends in the southern hemisphere, happy summer! To my friends in the northern hemisphere, happy winter! Regardless of the season you are in, we are invited to pause and reflect on what lights us up. It is something internal or external to us? Is it someone?
The dark moments/seasons of life are real and necessary. They strengthen us. They teach us. They connect us. I hope you are able to shine some light on the strong, unique, and powerful being that you are in whatever season you are experiencing. If you are lighting candles, trees, or a fire this season, may it be a symbol of the preciousness of you and this shared journey we are on.
I hope that you can come share your light with the OneTreeLove community soon. In the meantime, may this transition of seasons and new year be filled of all the people, places, plants, and more that light you up.

Lisa is heading to Puerto Rico to share some light and love. Join by gifting solar lights, solar or kinetic battery chargers, candles (no glass jars), or small lightweight recreation items (such as journals, coloring supplies, card games). Together, we will pack a suitcase to share with those in Puerto Rico that still experience significant issue with their power grid. Lisa will be visiting with local farms and environmental non-profits that could benefit from your gifts.
Turn the lights off and turn up awareness. What would happen if you turned off the lights while you showered? Of what about closing your eyes on a flat stretch of trail on your next hike? What about closing your eyes during part of your yoga practice?
Limiting one sensory input can give us heightened awareness of another. Take a moment to consider a way you can turn up your awareness of taste, touch, sound, and smell and what that brings up for you. We would love to hear how this goes for you; share on our Facebook page or in a private message.
