Here are some ways YOU can help us make the MADkingston Facebook page a vital community crossroads for the arts.

Midtown Art-Preneurs Love Small Business Saturday
November 26 is the seventh anniversary of Small Business Saturday, a robust idea created to boost small local U.S. businesses. According to the National Federation of Independent Business and American Express, more than 95 million people shopped small last year – an eight percent increase over Small Business Saturday in 2014.

YOU can support the local economy, enjoy a relaxed shopping experience and discover one-of-a-kind items right here in Midtown Kingston! If your Midtown business or studio is offering Small Business Saturday specials, please post them on the MADkingston Facebook page!

4th Annual
Made In Kingston

The brainchild of the Business Alliance of Kingston (BAK), this year's Made In Kingston will showcase more than 50 local artists, craftspeople and arts-based businesses on Thursday, December 8, 4-8pm.

This exciting and fun expo of Kingston’s maker community also features select food vendors, handcrafted beverages and musical performances. The City of Kingston, Kingston’s Midtown Arts District, Arts Mid Hudson and TRANSART join BAK in co-sponsoring the 2016 event.

What is MAD?
Kingston's Midtown Arts District (MAD) seeks to unite, revitalize, and enrich the community through the arts. We are building upon the City’s reputation as an arts-friendly place in which to live, work and play, and the more than 200 artists and arts enterprises already operating in Midtown, to ensure inclusive and equitable community development and economic revitalization for everyone living and working in Midtown.

For more information, send us a note and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
