In light of two recent traffic accidents with fatalities, one at Immokalee & Collier Blvd. just east of Ibis Cove, and one on Immokalee and US41, we want to remind residents of Ibis Cove to use caution when entering and especially when leaving the community onto Immokalee Rd . 35 percent of all crashes in Collier County happen in North Naples: Airport-Pulling Road, Livingston Road, Immokalee Road, Vanderbilt Beach Road, U.S. 41 North and Pine Ridge Road. Some 98 percent of crashes are preventable, so we urge you to drive defensively. It might also help you to know that zero percent of all civil traffic cases in Lee and Collier counties are ruled “not guilty” or dropped.
And please remember this carries over within the community. The speed limit is 20mph, meant to protect you and your loved ones!
