Week 1: Jan. 6 - Jan 10

Come join us as we kick off our "chapel on the road" series THIS TUESDAY AT 11:10am in Upper Gwinn! Chaplain Lisa will invite us to be met where we are on our journey through the Book of Job during winter quarter.
Urban Involvement, under the John Perkins Center, is hosting a three-week-long clothing drive from Week 2-Week 4 of Winter Quarter (January 13-31 2020)! Bins will be placed around specific locations on campus for students, faculty, and staff to be able to donate new or used clothing, shoes, and hygiene items. Donated items will be collected frequently and taken directly to one on the Urban Involvement Community Partners: The Bridge Care Center in Ballard. The Bridge Care Center is a drop-in center for individuals experiencing homelessness or financial struggle. Individuals who visit the center are able to pick out clothing free of charge. As the weather is cooling down, the center is in need of winter clothing including coats, rain jackets, jeans/pants, long sleeve shirts, socks, underwear, etc. However, all clothing, shoe, and hygiene items are gladly accepted. Any questions, please contact Katelyn Banks at banksk3@spu.edu. If you have a large donation, pick up can be arranged.
Staff and Faculty, you are invited to join one of our Affinity Groups this Quarter.  Each group will meet 3-4 times and will kick off with sharing lunch together at 12pm on the dates noted below.  Please RSVP by Monday, 1/13 for the respective group(s) you self-identify with and would like to join below:
