:: Dive into the portal ::

Well here we are, in another Eclipse cycle, experiencing the polarities of Cancer and Capricorn. We are working with the themes of earth (structure, security, creation) and water (emotions, intuition, connections). Eclipses are infamously intense times of cleansing and transformation. But did you know we are also in a Sirius gateway?? From July 3rd to July 7th.  During this time, Sirius moves in closer to Earth, while our own Sun moves further away, allowing for Sirius' influence and higher frequencies to be felt with greater ease. We will also experience this again next month, during the Lion's Gate portal on 8/8. Sirius is known as our Spiritual Sun, and the Ancients believed it was a place of higher consciousness, technological advancements, and a portal to the higher realms. Some cultures believe that souls had to pass through Sirius to reach Heaven. So it's no surprise that many ancient cities were built in alignment with Sirius, such as the pyramids of Giza. So right now, we are being bombarded with extremely high frequencies from the cosmos. It's a lot. I haven't been able to sleep -- it is well past 4am as I am writing this!

The Universe is setting the table for us in a big, big way. It is up to us what we do with this invitation and these energetic upgrades, revelations, and clearings being offered right now. We live in a free will universe and though we are influenced by all of this, we get to choose what to do, or not do. We can be nudged and whispered to and face all the Nos in the world, but nothing changes unless we really want it to, and then take action.

Here's the thing I've learned about humans and healing -- many times, most times, we have to be brought to our knees to before we surrender to Spirit and commit to trying another way. I know many of you reading this know exactly the kind of moment(s) I'm talking about. I have had several. I personally don't know a single person who has come to holistic/spiritual healing without some type of trauma. Even then, it can take a lot of time to fully commit. It's scary. It will change everything about life as we knew it, and we feel that on a subconscious level. Alarms bells start to go off, the ego reasserts its control, and fear pulls us back. We dance right up to the ledge, because we instinctively want to and know we can fly, but then it becomes too real and we retreat again. This is normal, and part of the process. There's a lot to unlearn before we can begin to re-learn and re-member.

When I began holding circles and later offering attunements, I cared so much about everyone having a positive experience. So very much, because these modalities are very dear to my heart and changed my life. I was doing this because I felt called to offer and pass on these wondrous, transformative powers to the whole world. I had given up so much to be able to do so. People's positive experiences were validations. And by and large, people did have very positive experiences, though the work (especially breathwork) could be intense and challenging at times. But occasionally, someone would walk out during a circle, and I would be wracked with guilt even though everyone else in the group left glowing. Even though I knew I couldn't take it personally and that it wasn't about me, I still felt responsible (yep, recovering empath and people-pleaser over here!). And one time, I gave a close friend an attunement they had been asking me for and they were rather nonplussed afterward, which was confusing and devastating to me. Everything had been so right. I had set it up with so much care, and felt the most beautiful energies during the session, and yet I received a "meh" in response.

A few months ago one of my teachers said to me, "All you can do is set the table," and I've been meditating on that ever since. What does that really mean? To me it humbly reminds me that everything I offer is just that -- an offering. In all my years of teaching and offering, I learned that all you can do is all you need to do. You can prepare the meal, set the table beautifully, and extend the invitation, and that's it. Your job is done after that. You can't make people come, obviously. If they do come, it stands to reason that they want what is being offered but that isn't always true -- you can't make them eat, or enjoy it if they do eat. And that's okay. Sometimes, the invitation is the most important part for someone. Or simply being at the table, even if they aren't quite ready to eat yet.  They are probably still dancing along that ledge. When they are truly hungry, they will partake. That's when it's truly delicious, for all the bitter and the sweet.

We are all simply channels for Spirit. Reiki, LaHoChi, the Akash or other energy and divine knowledge doesn't come from us, it comes through us. We can hold space for others but we can't do the work for them. We can create our art and speak the truth as we know and understand it and offer our very best to the world. We don't always really know why someone is drawn to what we have to offer, especially if they seem to react negatively. This might all seem like very basic, common knowledge but when you've put your heart and soul into something and dedicated your life to it, it's rather hard to separate yourself and your offering from someone else's experience of it. We all want to be liked and valued for who we are and what we have to give. By reminding myself that I've done all I can do by setting that table, it takes the pressure away. It also helps me uphold my energetic boundaries, because when people are really hungry they will get serious and do whatever it takes to be at that table, and will be willing to work with me in the way that is most supportive. I will always care, very much, about my students', clients' and attendees' experiences. I always want to know what it was like for them so I can support them further. And as I've healed myself I can receive it all as interesting information. I know my table is beautiful and valuable and ready to be received, however it is received.

So with these eclipses and portals and celestial transits, I'm saying Yes to all of it. Yes to the discomfort and growth and upgrades and whatever is next. I said Yes to this sleepless night which gave me the space and time to put these thoughts to the page (so to speak).
Because when we fully say Yes, with our free will and intention, that's when the magic happens. That's when miracles appear and transformations occur.  I'm at the cosmic table and I'm hungry... aren't you?

Okay, peeps, the sun has come up. I hope you had a beautiful new moon and are enjoying your morning. I am here if you need to have a session and below are my offerings for this month. Thanks for reading and being here with me.

2:00pm | MINKA brooklyn

This offering is a learning lab and skill share to decolonize our language and practices in the healing and wellness arts. We will come together in the cooperative spirit of unity and love to consciously step out of old patterns, ways of thinking, being and operating that are not in alignment with who we truly are, or where we want to go. Though anti-racism and decolonization work can be heavy and seem daunting, our last offering was very sweet and people even had fun!

Whether you practice professionally or personally, this workshop IS for you. All are welcome.⁣⁣

13th Octave LaHoChi is a powerful hands-on healing modality that brings in a very high frequency of light into one's physical and energetic bodies. La means Light and Love of God/Goddess/Spirit. Ho means Movement. Chi refers to Life Force. Hence, LaHoChi is the movement of light into the body at the speed of Love. The 13th Octave is a process of conscious union within the heart of God/Goddess; an awareness that is anchored deep within our hearts. This is an extremely powerful form of energy balancing and healing in which the body’s own natural healing abilities are activated and nurtured. What others are saying...

“I had worked with Jordan on a number of occasions before purchasing her month-long package. My previous experiences had already fostered trust and I knew her to be a gifted healer, but the degree of growth and healing I experienced in that on each month was astounding. Utilizing two individual sessions and a customized flower essence I was able to move through some blocks that I had been struggling with for years. Her patient, supportive, and trauma-informed methods gave me the support I needed to make big shifts. I would recommend her highly to anyone looking to create real and lasting change in themselves." - M.M.

"Working with Jordan was extremely monumental in my growth here in NYC. She is a true healer, capable of understanding the depths of both past and present emotional trauma. Her nonjudgmental approach to our sessions was incredibly comforting and tailored to my individual needs. The reiki and breathwork were significant in releasing old, unwanted beliefs about myself. I could feel strong shifts in my body and mind during and after every time we met. Her flower essences are also very powerful and played a great role in my healing process. I highly recommend working with Jordan both short and long term. I'm grateful for our work together and to have such a wonderful person in my life." - E.T.

“After just one consultation with Jordan, I felt an immediate sense of relief, as well as a renewed sense of purpose. I was struggling to address some underlying issues that were interfering with my ability to move forward in my creative process. With utmost grace, she holds a safe space for dreamers to reflect on the obstacles that prevent them from stepping up to the plate so that their highest expression can be made manifest. She also provides practical tools and resources to ground your visions so that they are not lost floating in the ethers. I was most impressed by her response to my questions pertaining to social justice, equality, inclusivity, and being of service to others while creating a healing based business. She is the real deal. Do yourself a favor and experience some of her magic and wisdom. ” - M.P.
