Tarot Symbolism

Hey peeps! Just want to let you know that my online workshop, Tarot Symbolism, is tomorrow (May 30th) at 8:00pm EST. This is the #1 class I've been asked to offer virtually, and I'm excited to connect with you all in such a modern way!

If you're at all curious about working with the Tarot, or are feeling the call to deepen your understanding of the deck, this is the workshop for you. The Tarot is a powerful tool for gaining clarity and insight, strengthening your intuition, and figuring out what to do next. I recommend it to everyone! But it can seem intimidating at first. Learning all 78 cards, plus reversals, plus spreads, is a lot. When I was learning, I remember thinking so clearly that it was like learning a foreign language, and I wondered if I would ever "get" it. But we already speak this language.

As humans, we communicate ideas using signs, symbols and archetypes. Many of them transcend language, culture or background - they are universal.

Symbols serve as messages from our higher selves and the Universe, and is one of the oldest forms of communication. We are able to intuitively and instantly connect with these images, which unlocks so much meaning and insight. In the Smith Waite deck, each individual card is loaded with symbolism from Kabbalah, Christianity, Judaism, Paganism, the Golden Dawn and Astrology. Oh, and numerology! It's a lot to take in, but we will learn how to make it fun and easy. What's important is forming your own personal and intuitive connection with the cards.

In this workshop, we will
- Learn about the history of the Smith Waite deck and honor its creator, Pamela Coleman Smith
- Undergo a shamanic journey to connect with the cards
- Explore the myriads of symbols and themes in the Smith Waite deck to gain a deeper understanding of the Tarot, as well as use them as visual clues to aid in learning
- Have a collaborative discussion and learn from each other's experiences and understandings of the Tarot
- Have a Q&A, where you can ask me anything!

Looking at the Tarot in this way will show you how much you already know, and empower you to read with confidence and ease. Learning a few key symbols that run throughout the deck is an easy way to connect with the cards -- and it's my favorite way to read the Tarot.

Since this is an online workshop, you can join in from anywhere in the world from the comfort of your own space. (And if you can't make it live, I will send you a recording.)  If you've been wanting to work with me, now you can! And it's only $22.

People are signing up from all over the country. Join us!
