Hello from everyone at Birmingham Community Matters

Welcome to our newsletter for September. Whether working or relaxing (or a mixture of the two), we hope you had a happy and fulfilling summer.

Following our successful bid for National Lottery funding, we're delighted to tell you that we have recruited a Development Coordinator. We will introduce her soon.

We were pleased and encouraged by the strength of applications for the role. Thank you again to everyone who took the time to apply.

We will be advertising for a Development Assistant in the coming weeks. Please keep an eye on our Opportunities page if you are interested in the job. We will also share details through our Twitter feed and on our Facebook page.
New surgery dates

People have been asking about forthcoming dates and venues for BCM surgeries. We are excited about getting started again.

We have been quiet for a positive reason. Having emerged from our pilot phase with new funding, we have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure we get the next stages (including recruitment) right.
Once our Development Coordinator is settled in her role, we will be in a position to plan many more events around the city. Thank you for your patience - we will have updates for you soon.

In the meantime we've updated our list of useful online resources which may be helpful to small community groups. You can also learn more about BCM in our most recent annual report
