Volume 2  |  Issue 2  |  April 2020

Since we are all overwhelmed by emails right now, this issue of the CBSD Quarterly Courier shall be brief! We have a short message from Steve and Bruce. Furthermore, we wanted to share a story that was released after the January issue. One of our own Postdoctoral Fellows, Sascha Stump was awarded an NIH F32! As always, we share recent publications citing the use of CoBRE resources. If you have suggestions for content, simply reply to this email or connect with any one of the CBSD team members

Message from Bruce and Steve

As mentioned in the opening, we would like to keep this issue of the CBSD Quarterly Courier brief. Our message is twofold; we would like to remind our community of our continuity of operations as it pertains to our administrative office as well as share some CBSD news. Like many others on campus, our administrative staff is working remotely until we are free to return to campus. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to reach out to us via email. We are more than happy to schedule a time to visit over the telephone or a Zoom meeting if need be.

With that being said, that brings us to our news. If you just visited our Staff web page, you likely noticed a new name. We are in the process of onboarding our new Budget Analyst, Mattison Rumpca. Mattison will be taking over many of the tasks formerly assumed by Kathy White. However, one of the first will be assisting with components of our Phase III CoBRE application that we are working on diligently. She may be reaching out to you for information in the coming weeks, so please help us in welcoming Mattison into the CBSD community!
