Join a rally in support of the Postal Service -- Saturday, 10am - 1pm, at the McMinnville Post Office.

What Else is Going On?
We're 54 days from Ballot Mailing Day, and election season is really heating up on social media this week!  Hang in there, everyone, it's going to be a rough couple of months.  In the group and in community groups elsewhere in McMinnville, the candidacy of Heidi Parker and Brittany Sierra got a lot of attention, as did their ties to Mary Starrett and Lindsay Berschauer.  James Goings, sign manager for Lindsay Berschauer, is now Heidi Parker's campaign manager.  This Friday he had this to say on Facebook: "When you have left leaning ideologies you're brainless, you're thinking is tilted."   Well, we obviously don't agree!

Yamhill County Democrats opened a campaign office this week!  It will be open Mondays and Wednesdays, 4-8pm, and Saturdays 10-2pm.  They are looking for volunteers to help keep it open, can you sit in the office from 4-8 a night or two?  Sign up for their mailing list for more information as the election progresses.

Speaking of the Democrats, this Saturday is the final training of their Candidate Training series, focusing on Fundraising.  The speaker is an experienced non-profit and political fundraiser, so consider coming even if you aren't running a campaign right now!  Register here.

...thank you to our Newsletter volunteers who help keep this newsletter coming to you!  If you're interested in volunteering to help keep Progressive Yamhill running, please email us!

Our growing Facebook Group is 'Private', meaning that unless you are in the group, you cannot search for it, see anything anyone posts in it, or even find out who else is a member.  We take our members privacy seriously and have a team of moderators who vet every new member before adding them.  In order to enable new members to find us, and to communicate key events to the public, we also have a public Facebook Page.  If you would like to join, and the first link didn't work for you, use the second link and follow the instructions to let us know!
We Are engaged residents and friends of Yamhill Valley who believe in developing a community that both respects and creates equity, inclusion, safety and freedom from fear & hate for all. Our purpose is to educate & inform, and to actively participate in the creation of a local climate in support of these beliefs.
