With community health as a top priority, Habitat for Humanity La Crosse Area will continue to suspend business operations through at least April 24. Additional steps may be taken after that time. We are only conducting operations directly related to critical client and staff services. Please see our website for more information.

Event cancellations will be extended through May 10:
  • All committee meetings between now and May 10
  • All on-site construction volunteer teams scheduled between now and May 10
  • All Volunteer Orientation trainings scheduled between now and May 10
  • Neighbors Day 2020 scheduled for May 2 is cancelled. It will not be rescheduled.
  • Green Bay Packers Tailgate Tour scheduled for May 15 is cancelled.

If you have been laid off, furloughed, or had a reduction of hours due to COVID-19, you qualify for unemployment benefits whcih may include an additional $600 per week in addition to current state unemployment benefits. Click here for more information.

Couleecap 

Providing just-in-time critical bill payment assistance for low-wage workers in La Crosse and Vernon County who have lost or reduced their employment due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Outreach will be focused on people laid off from service or retail industries, and funding will be provided to help with critical bills, such as rent, car payments, life-critical prescription costs, utility bills, and more.

This is the perfect time to do some Spring Cleaning! Join our 30 Day Spring Cleaning Challenge with a chance to win a $50 ReStore Gift Certificate.
  • Starting on Wednesday, April 1, we will post a room by room Spring cleaning check list every Monday-Saturday.
  • Take a before and after picture of your Spring cleaning project and post them in the comment section of the room challenge you participated in.
  • Each time you post your pictures, you will be entered into a drawing for a $50 ReStore gift certificate.
  • All pictures must be posted by Thursday, April 30 to be entered into the drawing.
  • The drawing will take place on Friday, May 1.
  • Did you do a room challenge on another day? That's ok, just post the before in after pictures in the comments of the room challenge once you have it completed.
