Trevor J Barnum, RN, CCRN
Surgical Nurse Educator
Department of Surgery

How did you become interested in medical simulation?
I became interested in simulation while in the Navy Reserve. Within that role, I teach Advanced Cardiac Life Support and have been a part of a number of other classes in which simulation is key to the success of learners.

How does your work advance simulation training and education?
The team I work with develops innovative simulations and OSCEs that we disseminate at conferences and in other platforms to push the boundaries of what is possible with simulation.
