A Special Invitation For You
I hope this message finds you safe, healthy and adjusting to these unprecedented times. Last May, many of you celebrated our first year anniversary of the screening of The Long Shadow. Even during these challenging times, we remain committed to our goal of dismantling racism. Therefore, this May, Together is Better Alliance (TiBA) will host our 2020 Annual Meeting and Celebratory Reception
. This event will allow us to celebrate our partners, volunteers, and supporters; as well as honor the important TiBA achievements of this past year.
Please plan to join us on Friday, May 1, 5-7 p.m.
at Edward-Elmhurst Hospital Arboretum Conference Center, Maple Room, 155 E. Brush Hill Rd., Elmhurst. We are eternally grateful for your support. Without you, we would not have a reason to celebrate another great year doing important engagement around race and racism. Dress attire is business or business casual.
This invitation is intended solely for the person it is sent to. As our honored guest, there is no charge for you to attend this event. However, space is limited and you must pre-register by Monday, April 6
by clicking here
. If you would like to bring a guest, they are welcome to attend as long as space is available. Their cost is $25 per person. To register your guest, please register them here
and send $25 per guest to PayPal (email@example.com
via Friends & Family), Zelle (firstname.lastname@example.org
) or CashApp ($AmaniaDrane) by April 6. If you register and later are unable to attend, please let us know immediately so that we can appropriately adjust our menu quantity.
TiBA is monitoring the current COVID-19 concerns. We are also working with Edward-Elmhurst Hospital staff and monitoring news updates from the CDC, WHO, and state and local government outlets. Our current plan is to meet in person if safe to do so. However, we have put a Plan B
in place to have a virtual meeting and celebration if warranted. If you plan to join us, please register as requested above. We will notify our registered guests in a timely fashion of additional details and changes. Until then, please stay safe and healthy.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please email us at email@example.com.
