Welcome to the 2019
Ottawa Seed Library Newsletter
You are receiving this newsletter because you are a member of the Ottawa Seed Library. If you no longer wish to be a member, please reach out to us and we will remove you from our list.
Let's jump right in as we are a bit late reaching out to you this year. The Ottawa Seed Library (OSL) has grown to 4 volunteers and we have been getting together once a month since January planning what the OSL will try and accomplish this year. One of our goals is to be more connected to our seed saving members and to use this newsletter to educate you, our members, on seed saving information, techniques and events that are relevant to you. We will be hosting a seed saving workshop at the end of summer and will keep you informed of other events/workshops with our partners and like organizations that would compliment your seed saving efforts. If you would like to join the OSL organizing committee, please email us.
The seed library inventory for 2019 has been established and will always be located in the right hand column. Underneath this is the seed sowing calendar. We will continue to build a resource library for our members and have information readily available in this column and in every newsletter. Take and look and decide what seeds you would like to grow this year.
Two upcoming events, please drop by and pick up some seeds at the Just Food Table.
