Notice of Works

Please be aware that starting Week 8 this term, a team of contractors will begin renovating the Enrolments and Marketing rooms of CS Lewis house. This project will be completed and operational for the beginning of 2022. This is an exciting project and we look forward to having a new and modern area for parents, carers and students to be greeted with when they visit our school.

Commencing Week 7, the grassed area in front of CS Lewis house will be fenced off and deemed to be a construction site. The footpath behind CS Lewis house will be closed and a large section of the grassed area near the long jump pit will be sectioned off for parking and site deliveries. There may be slight changes to pedestrian traffic during this time, please ensure you follow all signage in this area.

If you require the Enrolments team, please call or email enrolments@wccs.nsw.edu.au. The Uniform Shop will remain open as a click and collect service only.

Dear Carey Parents and Community members,

I hope your return to school has been a relatively smooth transition, no doubt you are back in the swing of packing lunches and getting out the door each morning!

As a school community, we can support families who might be experiencing difficult circumstances through the gift of meals.

In the past, we have welcomed donations of home cooked meals prepared by staff and families. Due to COVID restrictions, we are now asking for contributions in the form of supermarket gift cards, which are then used by the meals ministry team to purchase store prepared meals

If you are able to make a donation, please send an electronic gift card to oosh@wccs.nsw.gov.au or, with your child to the primary or high school office in an envelope marked 'Meals Ministry'.

Many thanks, yours in Christ,
Jo Barden
