A Day of Dance, Sat 10am - 7.30pm

Mission Prayer

Our mission prayer this week is for Street Pastors

Street pastors are trained volunteers from local churches who care about their community. They patrol in teams of men and women, usually from 10pm to 4am on a Friday and Saturday night, to care for, listen to and help people who are out on the streets.
Pray that we can find new volunteers to join our local team of Street Pastors to counter the dwindling numbers.

Purpose Driven Life - Coming soon

This 6-week Sunday teaching and small group series will commence on 23rd February, exploring how the quest for personal fulfilment, satisfaction and meaning can only be found in understanding and doing what God placed us on earth to do; through living the great commandment and the great commission of Jesus. During the duration of the course, there will be an opportunity to be part of a short-term small group. Listen out for more information during the service this Sunday.

Day of Dance

Elevate Dance Company is hosting a day of dance classes on the 22nd of February as our final fundraising event at Crofton Park Baptist Church. The classes cover a range of styles, abilities and ages, ending with a fun, informal Ceilidh in the evening. There is no official cost of the classes but we have a suggested donation of £5 a class. It will be great to see you there!
A full list of classes and times are available on our website.

Compassion appeal

We sponsor four children through the Compassion programme by regular donations from a few church members. This is an appeal for those who have volunteered to donate to do so regularly so we can continue to do God's work in the lives of these children. If you would like to join us in regularly contributing whatever you can afford please speak to Clement or Judith.
The more of us there are, the more we can make a difference in the lives of these children and in turn, their families and communities.

Steve on leave

Please note that Steve is on Annual Leave on Thursday and Friday this week.

House groups

We presently just have one regular group, meeting in the Church Lounge on Friday mornings at 10am. Please speak to Judith Seymour (picture on the who's who board near the main entrance for more details, or contact Pastor Steve.

Digital skills - social media 101

The first digital skills workshop will take place on Wednesday, April 8 at 10am at Crofton Park Baptist Church and will cover the basics of using social media safely and effectively. We will look at how to set yourself up on social media channels like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn. How you can look after your information and how to keep your children safe online. This session will suit people of any age who have never used social media or aren't quite sure if they are using it in the right way. It will also suit parents who might want some tips on how to keep their kids safe online. Places are free for church members and £5 for non-members. Visit our website and Facebook page for more details or contact Clement on 07805 900571 or email

Standing in the gap

Pray for Street Pastors that they will see an increase in their numbers and God will protect them as they offer support to the nighttime community in Lewisham.

Continue to pray for those working on the frontline of the battle to control the spread of the corona virus.
