Here I Am, I Have Come

Then I said, “Here I am, I have come— it is written about me in the scroll. I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart.”
Psalm 40:7-8

Mission Prayer

This week we are praying for the Chungs

The Chungs are a missionary family who have been working in Asia for many years now. Through learning the local language where they are based they teach and spread the Word of God to the community. Often in hostile and difficult situations.

Zoom catchups paused for the holiday

We will be pausing our Zoom Friday catchups over the Summer break. Shola is happy to continue the quiz on a monthly basis so if you are interested please let us know.
You can continue to keep in touch with friends using Zoom or on our WorkPlace site which also has video calling. Why not use them to set up your prayer groups and meetings online?

Communion Service

Just a reminder that tomorrow we will be having our communion service led by Revd. Carol Bostridge. Please prepare by having a small piece of bread and a red drink to hand before the service. starts.

Giving your offering online

Thank you to all of you who continue to send in your offerings and tithes online. If you are a regular giver or wish to make a donation you can do so online through our website. It's safe, secure and is another way of reducing the risk of spreading contamination through the use of cash or cheques. As ever, you are not obliged to give but if it is your wish to, this route is open to you.

Prayer Walk your High Street

Hope 1513 is an initiative created in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic that strives to provide a clear strategy where prayer helps people find hope through a relationship with Jesus Christ. They've issued the challenge of "Prayer Walking Your High Street" now that lockdown restrictions are being eased.  For more information click the following link:

Call for Volunteers

SpareHand is an app that was set up in response to COVID-19. Charities use it to find volunteers (e.g. food packer for a food bank) that would be willing to aid in any local charity work. In South London they are supporting a number of charities including Magic Breakfast, who provide free breakfasts to children at many local primary schools, as well as Waste Not Want Not (a food bank) and Central Southwark Community Hub. They are in need of more volunteers, in particular delivery drivers to drop of food parcels.

To sign up, volunteers simply need to complete the form on their website:
