Mission Prayer

This week we are praying for Compassion

Certain members of our church support four young people through the Christian child development charity Compassion UK. Two boys and two girls are based in Thailand, East Indonesia, Haiti, and Tanzania. The funding provides education, school books, and uniform, health care, and the support of a local church. A gift is given for their birthdays and this continues until they begin work or finish education at 22 years.

Thank you to all of you who continue to send in your offerings and tithes online. If you are a regular giver or wish to make a donation you can do so online through our website. It's safe, secure and is another way of reducing the risk of spreading contamination through the use of cash or cheques. As ever, you are not obliged to give but if it is your wish to, this route is open to you.

We will be sharing communion this Sunday. If you are watching the livestream please prepare a small red drink and a piece of bread or cracker so you can join us as we share together.

We are now pleased to inform you that subject to no subsequent reintroduction of restrictions on places of worship, church is open.

  • The church doors will open at 10am to allow plenty of time for people to settle in before the service.
  • The car park will be closed so if you are driving to church you will need to park on Huxbear Road or Brockley Grove.
  • We will Livestream the service for those who need to or would prefer to, stay at home.

Christmas Day Service

Our Christmas Day Service on Friday 25th December will be at our normal Sunday morning time of 10.30am, when we look forward to celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus together.
Please note that this year we will not be sharing a service with Grace Church Brockley because of the restriction on numbers due to the need for social distancing. Grace Church will have their own service at 9am.

This year's LewCAS AGM will be on Tuesday 15 December starting on 7pm by Zoom. All our supporters and friends welcome. It’s been a challenging year with much news to share.
