Mission Prayer

This week we are praying for the Mahons

The Mahon family are serving in Peru. Based in Iquitos, they are working alongside the Loreto Association of Baptist Churches as they look to implement a sustainability plan over the coming years. They are involved in teaching and curriculum development at the Nauta Integral Mission Training Centre, and also support the running of the centre. Dave and Michele are both Baptist ministers and have served at Brockley Baptist Church in south-east London for four years. They have three children: Jonathan, Ruth and Phoebe.

Vaccine text messages and other phishing scams

There are a number of phishing scams doing the rounds at the moment. If you get a text asking you to click on a link and provide personal details delete it. Your GP will contact you to make an appointment and as they have your details already, you shouldn't have to divulge personal information.
Scammers use phone calls, texts and emails. You can read the full article on this particular scam here.

January call to prayer - Week 3

There will not be any weekly virtual prayer meetings, but where possible, we encourage you to pray in unison with others at these times:-
Monday 3-4pm; Wednesday 10.30am–11.30am; Friday 7.30pm–8.30pm
You can sign up to receive a reminder by text, email or a phone call. Please let Maudlyn or Judith know as soon as possible. However, if these times are not convenient, please pray whenever works in your schedule.

We encourage you to join with us and read the book of Ephesians and pray in unison. A schedule for each week's reading can be found on our website here.

Several suggested prayer points will be made available each week and we are also inviting your suggestions for subjects for prayer during the final two weeks of the month. Please email, text or call Pastor Steve.

We end the month with a Zoom prayer meeting on Saturday 30th January, 10.30-11.30am. Please do please plan to join us. During this meeting, there will be an opportunity for anyone to share how you feel God has spoken to you during the prayer month.
