Our mission prayer this week is for Compassion.
Through Compassion UK, as a church we collectively sponsor four children who live in some of the poorest parts of the world. These children receive education, medical treatment and the support of the local church community. Compassion UK - "Releasing children from poverty in Jesus' name".
Church Members Meeting
Church members are reminded that the next meeting is on Sunday 14th July, shortly after the morning service.
An agenda and minutes of the last meeting have been circulated to those members on email. Printed copies are available today.
Crofton Park Youth Club Taster Evenings for yrs 6-8
Crofton Park Youth Club is holding two special Taster Evenings for young people in years 7-8 and children in Year 6 to try out the club before they start new secondary schools. Come along on Wednesday 10 July - End of term special with an inflatable assault course. The evening starts at 7.30pm and will finish at 9pm. Parents are welcome to have a look around, meet the team and see what we offer.
Women of Faith IV - meet our special guests
We're pleased to announce that Rev Sade Esther Adeyemi will be speaking at the Women of Faith IV afternoon tea next Saturday. We will also be joined by Karen Small for a Mindfulness session. If you haven't paid for your tickets yet please do so now.
We'll be having our summer picnic at Hilly Fields on 28 July 2019. Bring your packed lunch and park games, and join us at the Stone Circle. We'll be heading off after the church service. For more information speak to Janet.
