We were invited to speak at South Africa's national Center for High Performance Computing conference. This is the biggest annual HPC event in Africa!
Anelda van der Walt and Nomalungelo Maphanga from Talarify presented “A movement to highlight the importance of research software and the people who develop it”.

Next year

Our first meetup for 2023 will be in February to kick off the showcase of research software developers and their work in Africa and encourage networking and discussion.

We invite you to do a short informal presentation about your work. Tell us about your projects, the infrastructure you use, the languages you code in, or the challenges and successes you've experienced.
