2021 Rural Initiative Community Lender Awards

Dakota BUSINESS Finance is a local CDC that continually reinvests in the communities it works with. Through its Rural Initiative Community Lender awards, Dakota Business Finance is able to give back to the communities it did SBA 504 loans in. Prizes are awarded based on the number of SBA 504 loans approved with Dakota BUSINESS Finance in the federal fiscal year per community. Communities of less than 50,000 are eligible to participate.

Paula Brown of CorTrust Bank worked with Dakota BUSINESS Finance to assist Grand Fun Alley Learning Center with an SBA 504 loan for the purchase of a building in Brandon, SD for the business to expand to its second daycare location.
Grand Fun Alley Learning Center was started in 1999 in Sioux Falls, SD with its first location on the west side of Sioux Falls. The mission of Grand Fun Alley is to provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes children's curiosity while instilling a life-long love of learning. The new location will be able to accommodate 97 children.

Dakota BUSINESS Finance worked with Bradley Meester of First State Bank Southwest to assist ABRA Auto Body & Glass Worthington with an SBA 504 loan for the purchase of a building in Worthington, MN.
ABRA Auto Body & Glass Worthington has been with the ABRA franchise since 2016. ABRA’s goal is to make sure its customer’s vehicles get the best standard of care to get it back on the road as quickly as possible. Its technicians are highly trained, and the company has state-of-the-art technology and quality products to leave the vehicles it works on in great condition.

Jaden Holzer of CorTrust Bank worked with Dakota BUSINESS Finance to assist Aladdin Capital with an SBA 504 loan for the purchase and renovation of a building in Sioux Falls, SD.
Aladdin Capital specializes in leasing transportation industry equipment. It buys and sells over the road trucks and trailers and other equipment. Aladdin Capital finances the sale or lease of the equipment utilizing capital lease, direct finance, and operating leases.
