Prayer Group to Pray "the Akathist of the Mother of God the Nurturer of the Children"
All moms are invited to our first prayer group meeting to be held Friday, January 22 at 7pm!
Let's make an intentional effort to spend time praying together for our children each month as we pray the Akathist of the Mother of God, Nurturer of Children.
The prayer is an offering to the Theotokos to raise our young ones (by name that you will provide to Abouna when you come to the service) to be worthy heirs of Christ's kingdom. The text of the service can be found by clicking here.
A short reflection will follow the service as well as any prayer requests you may have for the group. We hope you all will be able to join us to grow in fellowship with one another and to ask for God's blessings on our children.
