Genomics Workshop

Attend a one-week genomic data workshop, June 12-16, focused on providing hands-on training for researchers working at the intersection of genetics and social science research, using data from the Health and Retirement Study (HRS) as a model.

New Genetic Data

Approximately 3,000 samples, collected during the HRS 2010 field period, have been genotyped and, combined with genotyped samples from 2006-2008, will be available this month from dbGaP as Version 2 of the HRS genetic data.

VA Linkage Now Available

The new Veterans Affairs (VA) Health Care Information data set contains health care records for HRS respondents who utilized services in the Veterans Affairs healthcare system between the years of 1999 and 2013, and is available as HRS restricted data.

HRS Summer Workshop

The HRS Summer Workshop, June 5-9, is intended to give workshop participants an introduction to the study that will enable them to use the data for research.
