Longmont High School Weekly Update

Week of 08/29/2022

 Principal Message

Dear Longmont High School students and families,

Please join us this Wednesday from 5-7pm for our "Back to School Night". We will begin the evening with a barbecue hosted by our LHS Athletic Booster Club, followed by an open house style of getting to know LHS teachers and staff. We also invite you to learn more about academic programming, school safety and community outreach support by attending informational sessions throughout the evening. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday. Thank you for making Longmont such a wonderful community.

Jeff McMurry, Principal

Every year, St. Vrain Valley Schools prints an up-to-date version of the Code of Conduct for students and families to review. This important document guides students and school staff on what expectations for school conduct and the consequences for behaviors that fall outside of those expectations. It is important that families review this information every year and acknowledge their receipt and understanding of this document.

After you have reviewed this information, all families must sign an electronic acknowledgment that they have received, read, and understand the information contained, including the Annual Notification to Parents/Guardians; Behavioral Code of Conduct; Rights and Responsibilities of Students and Parents; and Board of Education Policies book. To sign your electronic acknowledgment, please follow the steps described here.

Click here to access an electronic version of the revised Code of Conduct-->

This year, students will have to pay for meals at school. If you need financial assistance with paying for meals, please complete the linked Federal Free/Reduced Price Meal Application. Federal guidelines require a new application each year. Last year's status will not carry over to this school year. You can apply online at:
