Wrapping Up the Holidays

This winter season, many residents had holiday cheer greeting them daily as they walked through the front door. We were curious about which building had the most festive decor this year. We asked, and you answered!

While 798 Post (center) and 1401 Jones (right) were two of your favorites, they were no match for the festive spirit of your top choice, 845 Pine.

Thank you to all the residents who participated in our Holiday Giveaway and for helping us determine the most festive building. Each day, residents that voted were automatically entered in our drawing, resulting in 15 daily winners and our Grand Prize winner. Congratulations to all the winners, and a special shoutout to Christian F. for winning the $500 Gift Card Grand Prize!

Yes, We're Still in a Drought - Here's How to Stay Safe This Rainy Season

It’s hard to imagine, but even with the downpours we’ve seen this month, we’re still in a drought. The inches of rain inevitably lead to flooding outside and leaks inside, so please stay safe and aware.
  • Make sure your windows are fully closed. If they don’t seal all the way, submit a work order to your Building Manager.
  • If you notice a leak – no matter how small – submit a work order! Pictures or videos are helpful. A small leak detected right away can prevent a huge leak, damage and displacement.
  • Keep your computer and phone charged, and have a flashlight and spare batteries in a convenient place in case the power goes out.
  • If you have to drive, be careful! Roads are slick and often flooded, so be extra aware. Even the safest drivers can't always avoid other less careful cars on the road.

Going Green With GreenTree

We won't bombard you with water conservation tips just yet - we'll save those for when the rain slows down. But with the holidays finally wrapped up, take this time to slow down on your deliveries. Sure, it's convenient to get your laundry detergent sent the next day, and even more convenient to place another order when you remember you're running low on toothpaste, too. But by keeping those orders for one big purchase and saving a trip to the mailbox, you're reducing your carbon footprint one truck at a time. Utilize those Save for Later and Add to Cart buttons until you're really ready to click Check Out. Your wallet and the earth will thank you!
