Resource of the Month
Presentations from the 9th Annual Conference on the Science of Dissemination and Implementation in Health are now available! 

The 9th Annual conference took place December 14-15, 2016 in Washington, D.C. and focused on high priority areas in D&I research. If you weren’t able to attend the conference or didn’t get to attend every session that interested you, you can now view and download presentations from the conference.

4th Biennial Society for Implementation Research Collaboration Conference (SIRC 2017)

September 8-9, 2017 – Seattle, Washington

Organizers for the 4th Biennial Society for Implementation Science Collaboration Conference will be accepting abstracts beginning January 20th. The theme for SIRC 2017 is “Implementation Mechanisms: What Makes Implementation Work and Why?”  

Abstract submissions are due by March 15, 2017.

Global Implementation Conference 2017 (GIC 2017)

June 20-21, 2017 – Toronto, Canada 

The meeting theme for the 4th Biennial Global Implementation Conference is “Expanding Implementation Perspectives: Engaging Systems.” This meeting is jointly sponsored by the Global Implementation Initiative (GII) and the Hospital for Sick Children.

Fellowships
Implementation Research Institute (IRI) Fellowship - Applications due January 20, 2017

The IRI is an interdisciplinary training program for PhD or MD investigators in mental health implementation science. Fellows attend two annual week-long trainings at Washington University in St. Louis.
 
Applications for the 2017 cohort will be accepted through January 20, 2017.

Postdoctoral Fellowship Position: Dissemination and Implementation of Suicide Prevention EBPs in Military Settings at University of Washington 

The Dissemination and Implementation (D&I) Core of the Military Suicide Research Consortium (MSRC) is seeking applicants for a psychology post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Washington focused on rigorous, efficient, and innovative approaches to D&I interventions for military settings and D&I research and evaluation.

Implementation Science for the Prevention and Treatment of Mental and/or Substance Use Disorders in Low- and Middle-income Countries (U01 Research Project – Cooperative Agreement)

This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) solicits grant applications to address implementation research questions facing World Bank designated low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) and previously designated LMICs re-categorized as high income on or after January 1, 2011, in their efforts to deliver sustainable, evidence-based interventions for the prevention, early intervention, and treatment of mental and/or substance use disorders in women, men, and children.

2017 Implementation Science Institute at University of Pennsylvania

March 9-11, 2017 - Philadelphia, PA

The Implementation Science Institute provides participants with the tools to design and study rigorous implementation science research. The Institute will give an introduction to the foundations of implementation science and students will also receive an overview of advanced topics.

Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) Translation in VA

This talk is part of the VA's Health Services Research and Development Cyberseminar Series. The presenter, Laura Damschroder, discussed the clinical and implementation results from a clinical demonstration of DPP in three VA medical centers for researchers, clinicians, and those with interest in diabetes prevention and/or QI/research partnered projects.
