Working towards a more equitable digital future

In 2022, the ExCITe Center continued our regional leadership in promoting digital equity.

  • Our Civic Technology team has distributed over 400 free computers to Philadelphia households and community organizations.
  • Our Digital Navigators have enrolled over 150 individuals in digital skills training programs.
  • We returned to hosting in-person K-12 outreach programs, offering weeks of cutting edge STEAM enrichment programs at no cost to West Philadelphia students.
  • We represented our region in national conferences to advocate for best practices for digital equity in urban settings.
