It has been a busy start to summer! Our memberships are steadily increasing (currently at 25), we have added a Mothers' Room for new moms, we are adding additional seating downstairs, we are kicking off FREE business workshops, and summer events are starting to fill the calendar. In addition to programming, Monique Priestley has shifted roles to Executive Director and is joined by both new and renewing board members (details to be shared soon!). We are excited for the next phase of strategic growth, partnerships, and programming!

Across the ZOO-niverse Library Benefit Concert

Wednesday, July 17th 7:00–9:00pm This is the 6th stop on their 16 show-long Vermont Library Benefit Tour, brought to you by the Vermont Department of Libraries, Midstate Hyundai, Nutty Steph’s, Cabot Cooperative and more. July First Friday Gallery Opening: Ways of Seeing

Kip King’s show, Ways of Seeing, will be featured in the Gallery at The Space On Main for the month of July. Opening reception on July 5th (First Friday) 5:00–7:00pm and for public viewing hours 3:00–5:00pm on subsequent Fridays throughout the month. Visit for more information. Do you have an idea for a business or you’re already making a few sales on the side? Feel overwhelmed? Want some guidance on where to start? Steps to Start a Business will leave you with a clear idea of the resources and immediate next steps you can take to start your business journey. Field Trip! Startup Brews at OnTrack in WRJ

Thursday, June 20th 5:30–7:00pm Too often entrepreneurs work in silos. Imagine starting a business in a garage, on a farm, along a river, or at the end of a dirt road. Many Vermonters do...and it can be a very lonely place. But it doesn't have to be... Join Vermont's next generation of entrepreneurs, creators, innovators, and like-minded people interested in art, technology, and business who want to learn, teach, make things, start ventures, and meet new people. The next Startup Brews event will be hosted at OnTrack in White River Junction, VT. We'll start with BYO beverage and then people can keep the conversation going at any one of the great restaurants in the area. Five Dollar First Friday Coworking

Friday, August 2nd 10:00am–5:00pm Come cowork for $5 at The Space On Main during August First Friday 10am-5pm. Join us at the end of the day for our First Friday gallery opening with photographer, Julie Fortunati. Hop down the street for discounts on local food, live music, and fight night at Blue Wave. Start off here to let us know you're coming and so we can get on to the wifi network as quickly as possible.

Weekly Yoga Events with Bessie

Thursdays, 12:00–1:00pm Join us for a feel good, mid day move session to stretch, strengthen and destress! $12 Drop-ins or $10 for members of The Space (yes, including Sustaining Spark members)!

Mondays, 3:45pm (ages 5-8) & 5:15pm (ages 9-12) By popular demand, Bessie Sandberg and Emilie Perry will be teaching Kid Yoga at The Space On Main every Monday starting July 15th. Kids ages 5-8: 3:45pm-5:00pm. Kids ages 9-12: 5:15pm-6:45pm. Children will learn basic and advanced yoga poses and gain knowledge in the art of breath control. We’ll also throw in some fun games for learning and developing fine motor skills. Drop in for $10 or pay ahead for 6 classes ($50). More information:

NEW in 2019: We now offer a variety of team membership and sponsorship plans.

Membership is not required for people who plan on renting rooms for events / classes, for people who opt just to pay for day passes, or for attendees of classes / events.
