Hello, wonderful iLEAD staff,

With spring break approaching for our schools, it is an important time to review current guidelines regarding travel.

On March 13, 2021, it was officially announced that Los Angeles County had entered the “Red Tier” Risk Reduction Order of the state’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy. This means that we can continue with our plan to open in-person hybrid instruction on March 29, 2021, for  grades 7-12 for those who choose this option.

While the county progresses to the less restrictive Red Tier, the travel advisory and guidance remain the same. So as you are planning for the upcoming spring break, please keep in mind that staff and learners leaving the state of California will be required to quarantine for ten (10) days upon their return to the state. The most recent Travel Advisory published by the LA County Department of Public Health reads, “All persons arriving in or returning to the County of Los Angeles from other states or countries, must self-quarantine for 10 days after arrival...and must limit interactions to people in your household/people with whom you live.” The advisory can be found here.

Due to this guidance, you are required to notify your immediate supervisor and the Employee Services department when travel outside California occurs. Please email employeeservices@ileadschools.org to notify and receive further guidance.

Thank you for your time and attention to this information and for working with us to keep our communities healthy.

With gratitude,

Your Employee Services Team

Free to Think. Inspired to Lead.
