Cuprum 1.4 released

We're pleased to announce the immediate availability of Cuprum 1.4.

As already mentioned in the beta announcement, the key new features for this release are:
  • Object snapping. The cursor can now not only snap to various points of interests of the Gerber objects like endpoints and centers, but also boundaries. This allows very precise measurements between e.g. a circular flash and a surrounding region. Cuprum will automatically find the shortest distance.
  • Multi page printjobs. You can generate multiple pages each with a custom set of layers, scaling and include a frame. The frames can automatically show information like project name or print date.

Other new features include:
  • Full keyboard navigation support
  • Line numbers for error messages
  • Open ZIP files directly
  • Touch Bar support
  • Transparent viewing mode, to find hidden copper features
  • Rectangular zoom tool
  • Excellon data is scaled to match the Gerber data (a warning is generated in this case)
  • When a command is active, help text is shown in the statusbar
  • A full help file is included with the app
