Cuprum alpha release testers wanted.

Hello <<First Name>>,

I hope you and your family are doing well. It's been a while since the last announcement about a new Cuprum release and while the actual release has yet to wait a little bit longer I can tell you that an alpha release will be available soon.
I'm looking for testers that want to try it out to find any bugs and other problems.
Why is this an alpha release you might wonder? The backend of Cuprum wasn't very flexible and wasn't ready for the future. So I decided to rewrite it and build a foundation that can better support various requested features. I've currently reached the point where the new version (currently called 1.8) can do the same as the current version in the App Store. As this foundation is very important for the future developments I want to give it an early test to make sure it's as stable as possible before continuing.
Being an alpha release, it's still rough on the edges and some (smaller) things are missing. Hence, it's far from recommended for production work.
Please note that this version of Cuprum requires macOS 10.15 to run.

If you want to join the test of this alpha release please reply with the following information:
  • Your name
  • The type of Mac (e.g. MacBook Pro Retina 13")
  • The UUID of your Mac (see here)
  • The country of your Mac App Store (you can find your country at the bottom right of the App Store window)

Kind regards,

Remco Poelstra
