Southern Indiana Conference on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Proposals are due August 6. Conference on October 1-2, 2021

This two-day event will feature robust speakers and dynamic breakout sessions as we continue to address critical challenges related to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the academy, workplace, and community at large. Building on the theme "From Moment to Movement: Transforming DEI in Organizational Spaces," this conference will offer insights into how diversity, equity, and inclusion are transforming organizational spaces to provide holistic practices for students and employees. The purpose of this conference is to provide a space where individuals assess, develop, and enhance their current knowledge/practices in order to transform current practices and/or policies at their respective campuses.

LEAP Indiana Monday Coffee Hour: Call for Proposals

Please consider submitting a proposal

As a member of LEAP Indiana, USI faculty are invited to submit innovative ideas for the Monday Coffee Hour sessions during 2021-22. These virtual Coffee Hour conversations are an opportunity for informal sharing of innovative pedagogical strategies, techniques, and information focused on increasing the quality of education across Indiana. It is a chance for faculty to have a platform to share what they are doing in their classroom with others who are interested.

The format will consist of a short presentation (no more than 20 minutes) followed by an open discussion facilitated through Zoom on the fourth Monday of the month. Only the presentation portion of the session will be recorded and archived on the LEAP website.
